Aged 11 years and 2 months in Kentucky and bottled at a commanding 126.28 proof, this cask-strength bourbon showcases the deep, oak-driven character for which Rare Character’s BRW barrels are known. Its long maturation brings together dark sweetness, seasoned oak, spice, and fruit in a dense, powerful profile built for enthusiasts of mature Kentucky bourbon.

Tasting Notes:

The nose opens with brown butter and maple syrup layered with seasoned oak, tobacco, baking spice, brown sugar, cocoa, and dark fruit. The palate is full-bodied and syrupy, delivering vanilla, maple, cranberry, cracked pepper, cinnamon sugar, molasses, leather, and assertive oak tannins. The finish is long and complex, unfolding through black cherry, cranberry, cocoa nibs, citrus, burnt caramel, black pepper, tobacco, maple, and vanilla. A touch of water can draw out softer notes of vanilla buttercream and sugar-cookie sweetness.
