Compass Box Ultramarine is the first release in the Extinct Blends Quartet, a series crafted to reimagine and pay homage to iconic blended Scotch whiskies of the past. Inspired by the deluxe blends of the late 1980s, Ultramarine combines a carefully curated selection of mature malts and grains. Single malts from distilleries such as Caol Ila and Glendullan are paired with aged grain whiskies from Cameronbridge and Girvan, along with other rare pre-blended stocks. The result is a whisky of remarkable depth, texture, and flavor. Bottled at 51% ABV, Ultramarine is unchill-filtered and free from artificial coloring, ensuring its natural essence shines through.
