Winery Background:

Château La Peyre, located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux, is managed by Dany and René Rabiller. The estate comprises several vineyard plots totaling eight hectares, with vines averaging 30 years of age. The vineyards are planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, thriving in gravelly soils that contribute to the wine's distinctive character. Since 1994, the Rabillers have been vinifying and bottling their own wines, emphasizing traditional methods and meticulous vineyard management to produce wines that reflect the unique terroir of Saint-Estèphe.
